TOLUCA- Dorothy June Oser, 80, of Varna, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at home in Varna.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home in Toluca with funeral services beginning at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dr. Robert Idell officiating. Burial will follow at Cherry Point Cemetery in Wenona. Memorials may be given to American Diabetes Association, or to American Cancer Society. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home in Toluca is in charge of arrangements.
Dorothy was born in California on June 30, 1945, a daughter to Roy and Elizabeth Grace (Campbell) Paoli. She married Donald Lee Oser on February 13, 1965, in Reno Nevada. He preceded her in death in 2012.
Surviving are her children, Darlene (Keith) Weepie, St. Charles, MO, David (Lisa) Oser, Varna; grandchildren, Brittnei, David Jr., Sidnei, Tiffnei, Robert Oser; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Dorothy worked at the IGA in Toluca for over 25 years where she got to know many friends in the community. She enjoyed reading and doing sudoku puzzles and crossword puzzles. She especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren, and she was an avid crocheter.
