Eula Mae Stanford
Age 99 passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, at the Lightways Hospice Home in Joliet, late of Minooka, formerly of Lockport. Eula is the former owner of the Koffee Kup Café in downtown Lockport for many years. Survived by her loving children Lynn (Pete) Viehweg, Kay (John) Westhus, and Bill (Nancy) Stanford; siblings Hobert (the late Jean) Smyth, Audrey (the late Roy) Merritt, Jack (Joyce) Smyth, and Bill (Zana) Smyth; grandchildren Elizabeth (Drew) Barbeau, Emily Westhus, Jackie (Kyle) Jakebs, Bill (Iryna) Stanford, Reese Stanford, Sara Stanford, Becky (Marek) Zarebczan, and Judy Stanford; great-grandchildren Remi, Nora, Weston, Jaxon, Willow, Jett, Monroe, Billy Lev, Audra, and Frankie; brother-in-law Sam (the late Lue) Wilson, also many nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by her husband William Stanford, and brothers, Bren (Dorsie) Smyth, Cecil Smyth, and Ned Smyth. Memorial visitation Friday, September 10, 2021, from 4 to 8 pm at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Lockport, IL 60441. A celebration of her life will begin that evening at 6:30 pm. Services conclude at the funeral home, cremation rites to be accorded. She packed a lot of living in those years and though the numbers added up she never got old. She was always the first one ready for a trip, a party, a visit with family, etc. Her love of family is legendary. She touched a lot of lives in her 99 years.
