Glenn McAdam Obituary

Glenn W. McAdam
Glenn W. McAdam, 79, lifelong resident of Lemont, passed away September 25, 2021. He served in the U.S. Army. Glenn started a Land Developing/Construction Co., was president, CEO and Chairman of the Board of the Lemont National Bank for six years, served on the Board for Mother Theresa Nursing Home, and was an active member of the Lemont Lions Club for 57 years, holding the positions of president, vice president, and treasurer. Glenn owned and operated Sure Fire Auto Parts for 30 years.
Preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Ruth McAdam; and the Orchard family.
Survived by his wife, Rosemarie, nee Herzog, McAdam; two sons, Bill (Lisa) McAdam and Robb (Becky) McAdam; his grandchildren, Brandon, Christopher, Aaron, and Katie.
Glenn was a lifelong member of Bethany Lutheran Church and he served on the board.
Visitation Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 3 – 9 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St. Lemont. Lying instate Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Services at 11 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 500 Lemont St. Lemont. Interment Bethany Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church.
