To Lupe's family, I worked with Lupe at the Mount Prospect Public Library. How can I put into words how very much he meant to us all? Lupe was kind, warm, smart and so very, very funny. He had a special sparkle in his eyes and when he smiled he could light up the room. He was always so willing to help out wherever he was needed and never complained about anything. When I worked with him in the evening Lupe would stop by and ask if I would push the clocks ahead so he could go home early. He told me he was going to help me learn Spanish. He was patient enough to do it too! I am so very sorry for you loss, and if it helps at all, please know how much Lupe touched everyone here who knew him and that his memory wil be in our hearts always. May God be with you all and help you in this very difficult time.

Dear Lupe's Family - I've never known someone as warm and considerate as Lupe. I worked with him occasionally at the Mount Prospect Library and it was always a pleasure to see his smile. Please know that he had many who cared about him and considered him a friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I worked with Lupe at the Mount Prospect Public Library. He was kind and generous to all of us, and so willing to help library patrons with translations from Spanish to English. We are very saddened by his passing and will miss his warmth and great smile; he will not be forgotten.
