James R. Kirincich
James R. Kirincich, age 67, of Elwood, IL passed away at Silver Cross Hospital on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, with his family by his side.
Survived by his wife, Jodi (nee Carlino); children, Alana (Bill) Baker, Jimmy (Melanie) Kirincich, Nick (Madeleine) Kirincich; grandchildren, Logan, Landon, Baby Kirincich due October 2021, Stella, and Martin; one brother John (Cleo) Kirincich. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents, James (Stella) Kirincich.
Jim was a Union Ironworker in his younger years, working out of Local 1 in Chicago. He was the owner - operator of Mobile Home Transportation Service from 1983 until his retirement in January 2021. He was also the co-owner of several rental properties with his wife, Jodi. His greatest accomplishment in life was his three children. He was very proud of them and all their achievements. He also adored and cherished his grandchildren. Jim was a fun-loving beer drinker and golfer, who worked hard his entire life to provide for his family. Known as "Big Jim" to many he will be greatly missed.
Funeral services for Jim will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60431 Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until time of services. Per Jim's wishes cremation rites will be accorded following services.
