Janet Vrba Obituary
Janet K. Vrba (Nee Kulhanek), age 80, born in Milladore, WI and long-time resident of Lockport, passed away February 13, 2015, at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
She is survived by her five children; three sons, Kenneth (Annelle), Leonard (Sherry), and Mark; two daughters, Karen (James) Bryner, Linda (Douglas) Lein; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her brothers, Louis, Melvin, and James Kulhanek; and her sister, Irene Pasquini. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by her husband, Henry Vrba.
After a short career with Western Electric in the 1950's, she dedicated her life to caring for her family and volunteering her time and efforts in support of her parishes and her children's schools. Her heart was always into helping others, and she was loved by many.
Donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431 (www.joliethospice.org) are suggested in appreciation for their tender and compassionate care.
Per Janet's wishes, cremation rites were respectfully addressed.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015, 10:00 a.m., at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 401 Brassel Street, Lockport. Private Inurnment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.

Karen, A little note to say that you are in my thoughts & prayers. I saw that they found you for the reunion/ I just could not pull it together.
