Joann Starcevich Obituary
Joann (Coco) Starcevich (Berta), Born July 27, 1934. Passed away March 27, 2025.
Preceded in death by her husband Tony Starcevich, one son, John Starcevich, one grandson, Brian R. Parini, her parents, James and Mary (Karcz) Berta Sr., one sister, Dolores (Stanley) Malnar and one brother Bud (Betty) Berta Jr.
Survived by her daughter Dawn Parini and son Tony (Bev) Starcevich. Grandchildren, Brad, Kevin (Becca), Jeff (Denise), Nick (Nicole), Matt (Danielle), Jon (Jess) Parini, Krista (Rickey) Lopez, Eric (Stacey) Cacia, Tony (Sabrina) Starcevich. Great-grandchildren, Alacyn, Alyzabeth, Logan, Andrew, and Samuel Parini. Dominic (Mira) Nero, Christian and Julian Lopez, Delia Cacia, Zoey and Colton Starcevich.
A member of St. Mary Magdalene for 60 years. She was very active in school activities and was awarded the CCW Women of the year in 1976. Joann's faith got her through many tough times.
She was a lifelong resident. Employed at Montgomery Ward and Mel's Klip and Kurl for many years.
Memorial Mass for Joann will be held Friday, April 4 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 11:00AM located at 201 S. Briggs St., Joliet. Visitation 1 hour before Services at the church.
PISUT FUNERAL SERVICES is in charge of arrangements.

Dawn & Tony,
Sorry to hear of Aunt Jo's passing. She was always a joy to listen to. Be assured of our prayers for her and Uncle Tony. We won't be able to attend tomorrow because I'm bringing Carol home from the hospital at that time. Ron & Joan should be there and they can fill you in on her surgery.
