Joyce A. Hendrix
Age 62, passed away suddenly June 3, 2022 in Georgia.
Born in Joliet, a resident most of her life. Graduated from Gardner South Wilmington High School. Employed at Joliet Junior College for 22 years. Active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Survived by close friend Kay Collins; mother Mary Lou (McKinley) Legg; two brothers Billy and Martin Hendrix. Numerous cousins and friends also survive.
Preceded in death by her father Billy Allen Hendrix (1985); paternal grandparents Loomis O. and Mayme E. Hendrix.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Interment Braceville-Gardner Cemetery. Visitation Friday morning at church from 9- 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to Westminster Presbyterian Church would be apricated.

Joyce and I became fast friends just this year. She loved Kay and that was enough for me to love her. I feel blessed to have had the pleasure to see her warm smile, genuine kindness and impressive attention to every detail as she cared for Kay.
Rest In Peace my friend.
