Mark D. LaLonde, "Marky, "age 33, late of Shorewood, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021. Born in Joliet, raised in Lockport and a resident of Shorewood for the last 11 years. Mark was a Journeyman with the Boilermakers Union Local #1 in Chicago for the past 15 years. Member of Judson Church in Joliet where he was a youth minister for many years. He loved playing the guitar, piano, was very talented with all kinds of music, enjoyed working out, welding, woodworking and riding his Harley Davidson all over the Midwest. Above all else Marky cherished spending time with his friends, family and especially his nephews and niece.
Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donna and Jim Tierney; an uncle, William Tierney; and a cousin, Brendan Tierney.
Survived by his devoted parents, his mother, Mary (Nee: Tierney) LaLonde and his father, Duane (Peggy) LaLonde; three loving brothers, Paul (Christin), Peter (Amy) and Duane Jr. LaLonde; paternal grandparents, Robert and Irene LaLonde; one stepsister, Krysta Zielinski; nephews and niece, Ewan, Cian, Cora, Cole and one on the way; great aunt, Mary Kay Tierney. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends, and other cherished family members also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the LaLonde family for his nephews and nieces whom he loved dearly would be greatly appreciated.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 8, 2021, in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9th St., Lockport IL., 60441 from 3:00pm until time of Funeral Service at 8:00pm officiated by Pastor Joseph Landi.
Following all services Cremation Rites will be respectfully addressed.

Worked with Mark many times. He'd give you the shirt off his back. I'm in disbelief such good guy is no longer here! Mark will be missed greatly!
