I was lucky enough to meet Nancy in seventh grade at Haven School in New Lenox and have considered her a friend ever since, even though we were out of touch for too many years. When I think of Nancy the word “feisty” immediately comes to mind, followed by fun, strong willed and independent. She will always occupy a special place in my heart for her warmth and adamant refusal to turn her back on a friend. My deepest sympathy to her family.
