Nicholas Metzger Obituary
Nicolas J. Metzger, 33, of Joliet, died suddenly on November 14, 2021. He was born to Diane (nee Kinner) Metzger and Jeffrey Metzger. Nick attended UIC where he graduated with high honors in 2011.
Our beloved Nick is survived by his loving partner, Carson VonFeldt; his parents; sister, Amanda Kinner Morton; grandmother, Inez Metzger; uncle, Scott (Mindy) Kinner; niece, Evelyn Morton, and numerous cousins.
Preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Rose Marie Kinner.
Visitation for Nick will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60431, on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Per Nick's wishes cremation rites will be accorded following services. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Illinois Food Bank in his name will be appreciated.

Although we had rare and few opportunities to know Nick and only as as a child, we want to extend our deepest sympathies to Nick´s family and all those who love him. Special condolences sent to Jeff, Grandma Inez, Aunt Cheryl, Uncle Dan and all the Metzger/Garetto cousins. May God surround all of Nick´s loving circle of family and friends with His peace.
