Patricia Ann Barto (nee Regan)
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side Tuesday June 8, 2021, at her residence in Romeoville, IL. Patricia was a Dispatcher for the Romeoville Police Department. Before retiring in 2007 after 30 years of service, she, and her devoted husband Andrew Barto, went to Naples, Florida on vacation in 2000. They loved it so much they decided they would spend 6 months out of the year there once retired. Patricia is survived by her loving husband Andrew Barto; daughters Linda (Bill Prasch) Boudreau, Judith (Brian) Bottino, Cheryl Tapper, Lisa Barto, and Laura (Jonathan) Gauthier; sisters June (the late Richard) Sweic, and Nancy Schiferl; grandchildren Adam (Kristin) Tapper, Austin Tapper, Cassidy Tapper, Tierney (Payton) Jeffers, Sidney Bottino, Nathan Gauthier, Jaxson Gauthier, and Easton Gauthier; great grandson Gavin Tapper, also numerous nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents John Regan and Caroline Mueller; sister Charlotte Whitbroad, also brothers Robert and James Regan.
Patricia will be remembered for her dedication to her family. She was a loving wife and mother. She was also a doting grandmother who took every opportunity she had to spoil her cherished grandkids. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation Friday from 3 to 9 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, Il 60544. Funeral Saturday June 12, 2021, 9:15 am from the funeral home to St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Lockport for a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial.
