I knew Pat for many years while in the auto body industry. She would always have a good word and a smile that made the visits to our shop for State Farm a pleasure. I would like to extend sympathy to all of her family from my ex-husband, Ivor and myself.

Aunt Rita, I was so saddened when I heard of Patty's passing...I knew it was a possiblility, but no one is prepared for it when it comes...I write for Kathy and for me, that Patty was one of our favorite cousins, we always had fun when we played together...My heart goes out to you Aunt Rita..and I know, that if Kathy was here, she would say the same...but Patty is with Uncle Tom and all the Blackburns and I'm sure Kathy and Dennis (Haller) were there to greet her when she arrived...my prayers are with you and your family. Patty was so loved...

I met Patty when I started at State Farm. Over the years we became good friends. I don't know if I've ever met a more kind and caring person. I've never known a person who had anything but good things to say about Patty. She so loved her family, and would always light up when talking about her family experiences. I'm sure there is a special place in heaven for Patty. Carrie and I offer our most sincere condolences to her entire family. She will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

I worked with Pat for a number of years in Joliet. She had a great attitude and was always a true professional. Although I never met any of her extended family you should all be very proud of the life she lived. She represented the Blackburn name with distinction.

Pat was one of the first smiling faces to greet me when I started at State Farm. We often shared laughs in the garage. Even though I moved away, we kept in touch periodically through the years. Pat was a dear friend and will be truly missed.
