Patricia Pandow Obituary
Patricia (Pat) A. Pandow passed away in her home in Palm Springs on June 1 after a long battle with diabetes. She is survived by her daughter who recently moved to Palm Springs to be closer to her mother. She was a long-time resident of Mokena where she was raised by her parents Ruth and Fred Pandow (both deceased) and grew up with her six siblings, Peter, Robert, Sue, Terry, James (deceased) and Paul. Pat began working at Mobile Oil & Plastics in approximately 1976 and stayed employed there for 37 years. Raising a daughter alone was a tough challenge but she did it with grace and self-reliance. She will be dearly missed and remembered for her loyalty, dedication and strong will. Pat's happiest days were spent on the several road trips and vacations she took with her family, most notably the Alaskan cruise her daughter surprised her with on her 56th birthday. A celebration of life ceremony will be held in Tucson AZ later this year.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Pat was such a strong and funny person. I remember special times visiting her, Amy and Aunt Ruth when I was homesick while in grad school. Family is family wherever they are. I know she will be missed, especially by Amy. You're in my prayers.
