Patricia Pitcairn passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. She was 83 years young. Patricia was born in Joliet to the late Bill and Clara Elens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Pitcairn, and son, Robbie Pitcairn. Patricia is survived by daughter Diana (Tom) Wunderlich and son Tim Pitcairn; two granddaughters Frankie (Kyle) Forsythe and Brynn Pitcairn; and two great-grandchildren, Finley and Leo Forsythe. She is also survived by three siblings, Bill (Judy), Gary, and Debbie; in-laws Jim (Kay) Pitcairn; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will greatly miss her best friends of many years, Jim and Patti, Donna, Sharon, and Verna, along with her loyal canine companion, Molly. The family would like to thank Margie and Brianna from Lightways Hospice for being wonderful caregivers to Patricia in recent weeks. Pat's favorite pastime was sitting on the front porch watching the birds and indulging in her McDonald's large cokes.
Per Patricia's wishes, cremation rites have been honored. The family will be celebrating her life privately.

How do you say goodbye to your big sister? The one you shared with, cried with and laughed with and have shared memories with for 70 years? Sooooo many memories from the high school days when she wore hoop skirts and saddle oxfords to the beautiful formal gown she wore to Frankie's wedding. Sisters are tied together with heartstrings. I will miss her very much, but I know she's in a better place. So, to you, big sis, "May God bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you and may the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and bring you peace." Your little sister, Debbie
