Patrick L. McDonald Sr., 67
Born in Chicago, longtime Lockport resident. Passed away peacefully On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Current 2nd Ward Alderman in Lockport. Recently retired co-owner and founder of Andromeda Technology Solutions. Past commissioner for AYSO Soccer through the Lockport Park District. Volunteered with the security team at Parkview Christian Church. Patrick loved spending time with his family, being outdoors at "the property". He adored and supported his grandchildren and all their activities. His sense of humor and willingness to always help will be missed by all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Elizabeth McDonald; nephew, Joseph McDonald
Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joann McDonald (nee Bonato); loving children, Shannon (Kyle) Fuhr, Patrick Jr. (Tera) McDonald and Kevin (Laura) McDonald; grandchildren, Caitlin, Declan, Lanie, Colin, Madison and Jonathan; siblings, Mary (John) Intihar, Nancy (Bob) Divito, Robert (Gabe) McDonald and Kate (John) Chapman; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Chapel Service on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME 1105 E. 9th St., Lockport from 2:00pm to time of Service at 7:00pm. Cremation Rites will be respectfully addressed. For Info: (815) 838-5010 or www.oneilfuneralhome.com

First met Pat in 2012 in starting up a fire alarm division for Patriot Security Group, a subsidiary to Andromeda Technology. When I was first interviewed for a job position Pat asked me at the end of the interview if I could give the first name of those present around in the conference room table (6 people) and I was able to correctly other than his own name I thought it was Dan. I told him not too bad I was only off two letters - Lol. It´s been a running joke between us for 13 years. I loved the guy and he will be deeply missed. My heart goes out to his entire family, his two partners in business Jeff and Bill, and the entire staff at Andromeda Technology along with their families. He was loved, respected, and will be deeply missed. You put up a great fight ..... until we meet again my dear friend.
