Born: July 5, 1948
Died: October 17, 2025
Paul A. Bobak
Age 77, late of Lockport, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2025. Born in Joliet and was a lifelong resident of Lockport. He was a dedicated partner of Lockport Dental Group where he was a co-owner for 45 years retiring in 2019. Member of St. Dennis Church. Paul enjoyed building models, especially trains and ships. He liked science fiction, but above all else he found great joy in spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynn Bobak (2018); his parents, Paul and Veronica (nee Sternal) Bobak; his in-laws, Max and Phyllis Yarmolek.
Survived by his loving and devoted son, Gregory (Rachael) Bobak of Chicago; two brothers, George (Marilyn) Bobak, and Dennis Bobak; and a sister, Patricia (late Curt) Matile.
Prayers will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9th St. Lockport, IL 60441 at 9:30am proceeding to St. Dennis Church, Lockport for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Entombment following Mass at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville. Visitation in the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
