Died: March 1, 2023 in Littleton, CO
Rick Palmer of Littleton, CO, owner of PWSI Land Surveyors, passed away suddenly on March 1, 2023, while swimming in the Virgin Islands. Born in Joliet, IL on March 3, 1954, he was the second eldest son of the late Paul and Jeri Palmer. He graduated from Joliet Catholic High, class of '72. Rick was a land surveyor for almost 50 years.
Survived by his wife Heather, daughter Ashley (Greg), son Ryan (Olivia), brother Paul (known as "Peep), sister Lizzy (Alan), mother-in-law Diane Connolly, sister-in-law Suzie Wallis, Aunt Margie Palmer and special cousin and Godmother Sharon Herron. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Also preceded by his brothers Nick (Donald) and Charlie Palmer, father-in-law Tom Connolly and Uncle Bill Palmer.
Rick loved boating in the summer, skiing in the winter and being with family and friends all year round. He loved entertaining and there was never a dull moment when he was around. He will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Littleton, CO and another in Joliet, IL, date to be determined.

Heather, Ashley, and Ryan,
I am sorry for your loss. Rick will be remembered for his generous and kind way of making everyone feel welcome. I grieve because of all the wonderful memories shared with Rick and Heather, and for the moments in the future when we will miss his laughter and contagious joy. I know that Captain Rick is smiling down on us, with a drink in his hand, reunited with loved ones and friends.

Rick was a wonderful person! Larger than life!! Lots of great memories from our childhood at the Joliet Beach Club. So glad we were reconnected in later years as well!! Our love & prayers are with you during this difficult time. May loving memories always live in your heart!

Rick & I grew up on Horseshoe Dr. We shared a lot of good times together. He was a friend for 60 years. My thoughts & prayers are with his family.
