* * * * * *
Bob moved to Lockport, IL from Pana, IL at age 2, where he would live the remainder of his life. He was drafted into the Army shortly after graduating from Lockport Township High School and served in World War II Pacific theater. He worked at several different jobs before landing his dream job at Argonne National Laboratory. He worked there for 40+ years. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and playing games. He made himself available to anybody needing help, especially his children. Bob is survived by his wife, Janet (Nee Blaskey), two daughters, Barbara Pavlich (Jim) and Kathleen (Edward) Needy, and son Robert (Nancy) Pope. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He has been missed dearly this past year and always will be. With love from your family.
