Rose M. Kovacevich

Kovacevich, Rose M. (Nee Maravich) age 96, of Minooka, passed away on August 2, 2012 at Provena St. Joseph Hospital. Born November 21, 1915 in Gary, Indiana. Survived by her sons Daniel Kovacevich of Minooka and Richard (Connie) Kovacevich of Minooka; daughter Neda (David) Nissen of South Dakota; grandchildren Robert Kovacevich of Plainfield, Michael of Minooka, Nicole (Ray) Cachia of San Francisco, California and Kristina (Grant) Avery of Plainfield; great grandmother of Jesse, Olivia, Noah and Avery; niece Veta (Bernie) Goodknight of Ohio; cousins Tom (Betty) Kovacevich of Joliet. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Nicholas; son Nicholas, Jr.; parents Nikola and Sarah Maravich; sister Donna Petrovich. Rose was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church would be appreciated. A Celebration of Rose's life will begin on Monday, August 6, 2012 at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church for a Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery. Rose Kovacevich will lie-in-state on Monday from 9:00a.m. until time of service at 10:00a.m. at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 300 Stryker Avenue, Joliet, Illinois 60436.
