Steve Magercak Obituary

Magercak, Steve J. Age 49, of Lockport, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 in New Lenox. Loving son of Naida Magercak (nee Gray); dear brother of Maureen (Keith) Lybarger; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph J. Magercak Sr. and brother, Joseph J. Magercak Jr. Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking. Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Lockport, IL 60441 on Friday, July 26th, 2013 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment Mt. Vernon Memorial Estates, Lemont, IL. To the Magercak Family, Steve was a good man, a fine person and a loss to us all. I knew him for only a brief time, but going to the Daytona 500 and spending times in a social manner were very rewarding. He will be sorely missed for being taken from us too soon.
