Terry Smith Sr. was born on July 10, 1956 in Joliet, IL to the union of Tommy Smith and Marion Smith.
Terry Smith Sr., 66, of Birmingham AL departed this earthly life on January 31, 2023.
He graduated from Lockport High school and attended Joliet Junior College. Terry was heavily involved with wrestling throughout school and retained his love of the sport far afterwards. He would go on to marry twice throughout his life: Victoria (nee Banks) and Lisa (nee Taylor).
Terry raised 4 sons and one daughter, all of whom were his greatest joy in life.
He became a manager at 18 and served in various restaurants/locations: Church's, Popeye's, Mrs Winners, Renaissance Hotel, Steak and Ale, Chili's, Logans and Cracker Barrel. Known as a dedicated determined person, Terry would receive many accolades from his companies such as Best Store, Best Profits and Best Sales.
Terry's work ethics was so superb that he was interviewed and offered a job by the founder of Popeye's himself. To add to his compliments, Terry was a long time member of Faith Chapel Christian Center of Birmingham AL for over 25 years, in which he served many years as an usher, including the role of Head Usher.
Terry is preceded in death by his mother, Marion Smith. He leaves his memories to be cherished by his father, Tommy Smith, his aunt, Opal Boozer; his brothers: Jerry (Vickie) Smith, Sean Smith; his children: Osama [Terrel] (Wendy) Smith, Terry( Kristi) Smith Jr., Terrance(Christina) Smith, Thomas Smith and Jamyah Smith along with his grandchildren: Krysta, Kacey and Terri Eden Smith; as well as a host of other relatives and friends
