Died: April 2, 2022
William Ronald Rusin of Lockport, went to be with His Heavenly Father on April 2, 2022. He was an amazing man that touched many lives with his love and kindness. Bill served in the US Navy and saw action in the Korean War onboard the USS Rochester.
Bill is survived by his son Willie Rusin, sister Virginia (Al) Schneider, granddaughter Jena (Joe) Bryant, grandson Jim (Brandy) Rusin, great-granddaughters Layton and London, daughter-in-law Lynn Rusin, nephew Steven Manola, step-granddaughter Jami (Billy) Ditto, great step-granddaughters Kiera, Jocelyn and Ausra, step-grandson Josh (Melissa) Bachman, great step-grandsons Jameson and Maverick, dear friend Arlene and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife Geri, son James, niece Christi and daughter-in-law Denise.

Funeral Wednesday April 13, 2022 at 9:45am at O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME 1105 E. 9th St., Lockport with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:30am at St. Joseph Church in Lockport. To all family members.....my brother Ken basically covered it all. Just a few comments. After retiring I worked part time at the park district. Got to work many times with Bill. We called him Billy Ru. He was a hard worker, having that work ethic. Had character, charisma, a class act, a great guy, & called a spade a spade. Am sure he is glad to see his wife Geri. Spoke of her many times. Take care & God Bless....

So many were grateful for the years Bill worked for the Lockport Park District and helped keep Dellwood Park so beautiful, Bill took a lot of pride in mowing the park for all those years. Bill treated all the fellow workers, whether young or old with respect.
All Bills close friends at Challenge Fitness will miss Bill!
