Zachary Vargo Obituary

Vargo, Zachary M. Age 24. Suddenly Monday, May 28, 2012 at his residence in Tonica, IL. Born in Peru, IL he was raised in Shorewood, and relocated to Tonica, IL two years ago. Graduate of Joliet Catholic Academy Class of 2006 and attended Loyola University for Nursing, receiving his CNA from Joliet Junior College. Zachary will forever be known as a very polite, respectful young man who enjoyed wrestling, track and football in his high school years. He thoroughly loved to play the guitar and had an amazing singing voice. Survived by his loving parents, Kristy (nee Shaw) and Don Vargo of Shorewood; his biological father, Mike Krogulski of Morris, IL; grandparents, Ted Pumo of Tonica, Ken and Barb Krogulski of LaSalle, IL, John and Clarita Vargo of Shorewood; aunts, Kim Shaw of California and Diane (Ken) Wojtowicz of Shorewood; cousins, Kate, Kyle and Alex; and several other aunts and uncles and many close friends. Preceded in death by his grandmother, Kay Pumo; his uncle, John Shaw; and his great-grandparents. Funeral Services for Zachary M. Vargo will be Monday, June 4, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Private family interment will take place. Memorials in his name to Joliet Catholic Academy would be appreciated.
