Wanda Mae Rossiter, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025, in Big Rapids, with her daughter at her side. On July 31, 1946, in Clare, she married Robert D. Rossiter. They made their home in Evart where she worked as an assembler at Evart Products, was a member of VFW Post 7979 Women's Auxiliary and parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Left to honor her legacy are: children, Mike Rossiter and Becky (Lenny) Blaker; three grandchildren, Michael (Babs), Janell (Alan), and Troy (Stephanie); four great-grandchildren, Michael, Brandon, Alexis and Jake; two great-great-grandchildren, Kamryn and Noah and many extended family and friends.
Mrs. Rossiter was preceded in death by: her husband of 65 years, Robert, who she has missed since 2012; son, Jeff; sister, Marjorie (John) Conner; dear friend, Gary McMillian and her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Evart.
A Memorial Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Evart will be held at 10:30 a.m. on September 18, 2025, with Father Loc Trinh as celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Evart. Cremation and care have been entrusted to Corey Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy can be left online at www.coreyfuneralhome.com.
