Adeline Chrisop Obituary

Adeline Eva (Adel) Chrisop, 76, Monticello, died at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2009 at Home Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born on March 19, 1933 in Wakaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, to Dan and Mary Keluk. On June 27, 1963 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada she married Grant Chrisop. He survives in Monticello.
She had lived in the Monticello community for 47 years. She was an avid gardener and loved working on the farm. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.
Other survivors include a son, Robert G. Chrisop, Monticello; daughters Karen Shewchuk and Joanne Shewchuk, both of Canada; granddaughters Jennifer and Kaitlynn, both of Canada; a sister, Jan Latoski, Canada; an aunt, Jean Holuk.
She was preceded in death by sons Wayne Shewchuk and Mark Lyle Chrisop; a brother Paul; a sister, Lorraine.
Visitation was Sunday at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home. Services are today at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Ross Terry of the Twin Lakes Southern Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery in rural Monticello.
