I met Dixie in the Beauty salon and did her hair for a few years. She was so much fun and was always laughing and raising the spirits of those around her.
I have missed her since she and her hubby moved away, but have always kept her in my heart.

Dixie was the first face and voice that welcomed me, as a brand new staff member, to Connersville High School in August 1970. Her friendliness and genuine care for everyone that she met in her position in the front office at CHS - students, teachers, staff, visitors, etc. - was greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dixie!
