Chochi Irene,
We are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Uncle John. We hope you will find comfort in knowing someone so special will never be forgotten.
I remember Uncle John came over and showed my Mom Mom (his Chochi Mary), and I the woodchuck he trapped in his garden. He would stay a while to talk and as always made us laugh. He was a funny man with a welcoming smile. He always called me "Little Duck". When I would drive by I always noticed him planting flowers and working in the garden he was so proud of.
He visited my Dad on numerous job sites. They enjoyed fishing together and exploring the local points of interest. There was never a dull moment when they were together.
I was told about the many BBQ parties he had at his home with the entire family. He loved grilling, cooking and taking his classic car out for a spin. There was no time for grass to grow under his feet. He enjoyed life!
The memories of Uncle John I will always treasure and keep in my heart.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.
