Kenneth Kyburz Obituary

Kenneth L. "Kenny" Kyburz, 52, Idaville, passed away at 8:35 a.m., Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at White Oak Health Campus of Monticello, following a brief illness.
He was born on June 23, 1964, in Logansport, to Kenneth E. "Eugene" Kyburz and the late Judith J. "Judy" (Brockman) Kyburz.
Kenny was a 1982 graduate of Twin Lakes High School. He also attended Cummins Truck Driving School in Indianapolis.
He had previously done carpentry work, was employed at Wabash National and did some truck driving before becoming disabled. He then worked at the Woodlawn Center in Logansport for several years. He also enjoyed helping on the family farm.
In his youth Kenny was a member of White County 4-H. He liked tractor pulling, working with small engines, drawing, and NASCAR.
Survivors include his father, Kenneth E. "Eugene" Kyburz, Idaville; siblings, Eugenia (Michael "Mike") Duhnovsky, Monticello, Jayne E. (Paxton) Snowberger, Monticello; Michael E. "Mike" (Kristina) Kyburz, Idaville, Emily S. (Bruce) Wilson, Monticello, and Melinda K. (Heath) Provo, West Lafayette; nephews, Garrett Duhnovsky and Austin and Levi Kyburz; nieces, Carmen Duhnovsky, Ashley (Riley) Tolen, Morgan Kyburz, Gabrielle "Gabby" Snowberger and McKenna Wilson; step-nephews, Paul and Preston Wilson; step-niece, Maranda (Trevor) Holt; great-nephews, Isaac and Carson Purcell and Wyatt Holt; great-niece, Addison Maxson; special cousin, Steve Bonnell; several aunts and uncles; numerous cousins; and his beloved dog, Frankie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith J. "Judy" Kyburz; his maternal grandparents, Steven Brockman and Violet Brockman Bigger; and his paternal grandparents, Levi and Emma Jean Kyburz.
Visitation will take place on Sunday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello.
Funeral services will be private.
Burial will take place at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
The family encourages memorials be made to the American Lung Association or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
