Paul Pendleton Obituary

Paul A. Pendleton, 24, Lafayette (formerly of Monticello), died at 10:45 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011 at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health East Hospital Emergency Room, Lafayette.
He was born on Nov. 6, 1986, in Lafayette, to Roy J. Pendleton Jr. and Michelle S. (Strasser) Pendleton.
Paul attended Twin Lakes High School and then went on to Lincoln Tech, Indianapolis. Paul had worked for Ivy Tech Community College Maintenance and Janitorial Department for the past three years. He was a member of the Linden Conservation Club.
Survivors include his mother, Michelle S. Pendleton, West Lafayette; father, Roy J. (Kristin S.) Pendleton, Jr., West Point; brother, Jacob J. Pendleton, West Lafayette; fiancé, Heidi M. Martin, Lafayette; daughter, Paige "Doodle Bug" Pendleton, at home in Wheatfield; maternal grandparents, Tom and Myra Strasser, Burnettsville; paternal grandmother, Barbara Pendleton, New Richmond; maternal great-grandmother, Margaret E. Flowers, Logansport; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Roy J. Pendleton, Sr. and maternal grandmother, Shirley A. Strasser.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday at the Miller-Roscka Funeral Home, Monticello.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home with the Rev. Tony Schabel of the Harvest Chapel, Lafayette, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Davis Cemetery of rural Burnettsville.
Memorials may be given to his daughter, Paige, to start a college fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
