Terry A. Bushing

1951 - 2020

Terry A. Bushing, 68, Monticello, passed away at 10:12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020, at Indiana University Health White Memorial Hospital in Monticello, with his mom, Mary, by his side.
He was born Dec. 8, 1951, in Logansport, to Mary (Harpel) Bushing and the late John Charles "Charlie" Bushing.
Terry had lived in the Monticello area most all of his life and was a 1970 graduate of Twin Lakes High School in Monticello. He went on to graduate with his bachelor's degree in business from Wabash College in Crawfordsville. Terry received his master's degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette.
He went to work with his dad, Charlie Bushing, at J.C. Bushing Accounting Services of Monticello. After his dad, Charlie, passed away, Terry continued operating the accounting business.
He was an avid golfer. Terry had worked in the office of Indiana Beach of Monticello during the summer months, was a substitute teacher at North White School Corporation of Monon and had also worked at Kroger's of Monticello for the last several years.
Surviving are his mother, Mary Bushing, Monticello; aunt Dorothy Gration, Carol Stream, Ill.; and several cousins.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, John Charles "Charlie" Bushing.
Visitation was from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello. Celebration of Life service was held at the funeral home at noon, Tuesday, Dec. 8, with Pastor Gary Roberts, of Grace Community Baptist Church of Monticello, officiating.
Burial followed at the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery in rural Monticello.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Grace Community Baptist Church of Monticello. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to the Miller-Roscka Funeral Home, 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, IN 47960.
