Christina Carpenter Obituary

Christina Carpenter
Christina Carpenter was born in Saalfelden, Austria, in 1944. In 1965 she moved to the USA and became an American citizen. She leaves behind her husband, Robert of 53 years and daughter, Barbara and her husband, Butch and grandson. She was predeceased by her parents, Barbara and Johann, and her siblings Greti and Karl.
Christina passed away December 5, 2025, due to complications of leukemia. The doctors and staff at the hospital were superb. They miraculously helped Christina, so she was able to enjoy another 4 1/2 years. Being able to spend more time with her family and friends, travel and watch her grandson grow gave her great joy.
In lieu of flowers, food deliveries or travel, Bob is asking you to consider making a donation of a similar amount in Christina's name to the Norwalk Hospital Whittingham Cancer Center (34 Maple St., Norwalk, CT 06856). Donating blood was important to Christina; in her memory, Barbara asks that you consider donating blood and/or platelets to the American Red Cross, a life-saving gift.
Family and friends nearby are welcome to celebrate her at life at St. Philip Church (1 Father Conlon Place, Norwalk, CT 06851). A viewing will be held on December 5 from 10-11 AM, followed by a Catholic Mass at 11 AM. After the service, please join the family for lunch.
Her ashes will be laid to rest at the family plot in Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY the next day at a time to be announced. More information can be found at www.Magnerfuneralhome.com
