So saddened to hear of Don's premature passing.
I first knew Don when he was a volunteer assistant scoutmaster in my boy scout troop (#63) in the early 1970's and saw him regularly through the decades as his late younger brother Dennis (RIP) was one of my closest friends.
Don always greeted me with a big smile and a pithy comment guaranteed to make me laugh. His presence will be sorely missed.
My condolences to Peggy, Mary, Patrick, the extended Sweeney family and Don's many friends.

Our condolences to Don´s family. I was on a committee at the NCFC when Don was hired, and we were so fortunate that he came on board. He was respected for his strong work ethic which he instilled in those around him. His kindness to all those who crossed his path will not be forgotten. Rest in peace, I hope there is a beautiful garden to tend in heaven because they need you in charge.
