Earl McNulty

Earl McNulty, 78, passed away March 7, 2015. Born May 8,1936 in Norwalk, CT, Earl was the son of Harold and Gussie McNulty. After graduating from St. Luke’s Prep School, Earl attended Syracuse University and was a member of the Psi Upsilon fraternity. At Syracuse, Earl met his future wife Jane. After serving in the Army, Earl and Jane married and started a family. He was a loving and devoted husband and father of three boys. The McNulty family lived in Weston and Westport, CT; Miami, FL and Marietta, GA. Earl had a long and successful career in commercial advertising with agencies such as Young and Rubicam, Ogilvy & Mather, BBDO and Tucker Wayne/West Wayne. He had a passion for running, gardening, cooking and antiques. Earl and Jane turned their love for antiques into a business when he retired from advertising and they moved to Ellijay, GA. Earl is survived by his sons Gregory, Christopher and Todd; granddaughters Ansley and Haley; grandsons Ryan and Connor; daughters-in-law Kim, Lydia and Pam; brother Copp and numerous other family and friends. Earl was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years. A memorial service will be held 11am on Saturday, March 28th at Bernhardt Funeral Home, 163 River St., Ellijay, GA.
