Francis Hood Obituary
Francis A. Hood, 86, who shared residence in Birchardville, PA and Norwalk, CT, passed away, Thursday, April 7, 2022. Born July 15, 1935, in Pittston, PA, the son of Robert and Winifred (Culkin) Hood.
He was employed by various companies as a Furnace Serviceman.
Francis enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing.
Francis was the last of his immediate family. In addition to his wife, Doris (Welter) Hood, his survivors include three sons, Robert Hood of Norwalk, CT, Francis M. Hood, and James E. Hood both of Birchardville; grandchildren, Brandon, Destiny, R.J., Brian, Kristie, and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Carina, Alivia, and Grayson; and nieces, and nephews.
He is predeceased by his sisters, Peggy Rincavage, Mary Schriver, Jean Himm and Joan Dutko; and his brother, Robert Hood.
Services: 4:00 pm, Saturday, July 16 at St. Matthew's Church, 216 Avenue, Scribner, Norwalk, CT.
