Helen Allegretta Obituary

Helen A. Allegretta
Helen A. Allegretta age 60, of Danbury, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Civita healthcare in Danbury. Born in Norwalk, Connecticut on June 7, 1965. She was the cherished daughter of the late Nicholas Allegretta and Sharon Allegretta (Parks).
For many years before her illness, she had been employed as a crossing walk guard for the city of Danbury. Family was the center of her life, as a loving and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed shopping, watching Uconn basketball, weekends at her sister's and spending time with family and friends. Helen was known for her generosity, selflessness, and caring heart and will be missed.
A special Thank you to the staff at Civita healthcare for the "love" and "care" given to Helen. We are eternally grateful. Especially "Julie" who attended to Helen with the upmost compassion.
Helen is survived by her loving mother, Sharon Allegretta of Derby, her sister Shari Tallberg and her husband Keith Tallberg of Derby, as well as her niece Megan Tallberg and her fiancée Joey Borrelli of Prospect and Nephew Tyler Tallberg of Derby and predeceased by her father Nicholas Allegretta.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 11 a.m. in Our Lady, Queen of the Apostles Parish, 212 Elizabeth Street Derby. Interment will be private.
