John Virgulak

John Jay Virgulak age 67 passed away peacefully in his home on November 21, 2014. He was born in Norwalk on May 19, 1947 and for the past 30 years lived in Danbury. John worked for many years at Perkin Elmer Corporation as a software Engineer where he worked on the development of the Hubble Telescope. At age 65 he retired from Sieman’s International Electronics Corporation. He was predeceased by his father John Virgulak and his mother Grace Watson Virgulak. He is survived by his two Aunts Susan Sontra Virgulak and Ruth Watson also 7 first Cousins, Robert Virgulak, Louise Virgulak Galgano, Louis Bardos, Gail Bardos Myers, Stewart Keene, Pricilla Keene Rudamansky and Terry Watson Riley. He will be missed by his long time friend Susan Casey, his God Son Bobby Virgulak and many Friends at the Disabled American Veterans Club in Danbury where he was affectionately called JOHNNY LAKESIDE. Friends may call TODAY, Monday, December 1st, from 9Am to 11Am at the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk CT. Interment will be private for the family.
