Kathi Curioli Obituary
Kathi S. Curioli, 59, of Norwalk, passed away Saturday afternoon surrounded by her family. Her passing was peaceful, as she held her boys' hands, with the sun setting and a light breeze in her face. Kathi drifted off to sleep as she embarked on her next journey to join her husband, the late Paul D. Curioli.
Kathi is survived by her two loving sons, Paul A. Curioli of Norwalk and Nicholas J. Curioli of Baltimore, and her sweet grandson who gave her so much joy, Brady. Born on March 3, 1958, in Port Chester, New York, Kathi was the daughter of "Mimi" McDermott and sister to Tammy Truscello and late husband Lenny, Kristi and George Llera, Billy and Casey Beadle, Michael Beadle, and the late Bobby Beadle. She cherished her relationships with her favorite aunt, Carol Peterson, brother-in-law Larry Curioli, and sister-in-law Geraldine Sweeney. She was also Aunt Kathi to many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Kathi's favorite time was when her kids were at Naramake Elementary School, where she was the Volunteer Coordinator. She also taught religious education, alongside her late husband Paul, at St. Thomas the Apostle. Kathi loved cooking and tinkering around the house. When asked what she was doing, she would always reply "stuff and things" because she was always doing something.
Kathi always said her greatest accomplishments were her sons Paul and Nick, and she was so lucky to have such a wonderful life. She said she only got luckier with her grandson Brady, whom she adored.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 1, at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk.
Friends may call on Thursday, November 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk.
The family asks that contributions be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk 06855, in memory of Kathi S. Curioli.

Kathi was the most positive, optimistic, and strongest person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing- despite all of the curve balls life threw her way. I loved her very much. I think of her smiling face often and cherish the brief days I had with her as her personal trainer in Norwalk. May she rest peacefully and pain free with her husband!! <3<3<3 XOXO

So sorry to hear about Kathi, I remember when her husband died on 9/11. My daughter went to school with Paul. May she rest in Peace and love to the boys and her family left behind. Kathi was a sweet women. So sad.

Paul and Nick, your Mom, Kathi, was a star in our books and will be greatly missed. no one lite up our offices like Kathi. We have worked with her and Gerry throughout the years and had come to love her for her wonderful positive spirit. Despite all she's been through, she rarely ever uttered a word of defeat. She wanted to overcome this dreaded illness primarily for the both of you and Brady. You now have two angels watching over you all. Make her proud!
