Peter Daniel Clock a resident of Norwalk, CT passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023. He was born in Norwalk on June 28, 1952 to the late Henry Clock and Florence Fable Clock. He was 70.
Peter graduated from Central Catholic High School, class of 1970, in Norwalk. He then served in the National Guard from 1972-1978. He worked for several companies during his career, including C.R Gibsons as well as Moody & O'Brien for 30 years as a Land Surveyor in New Canaan. His last 10 years were spent at Cooperative Education Services. He retired after having a dual hip replacement at the age of 60.
Peter also belonged to the American Legion Post 12 in Norwalk, Port 5 Naval Club in Bridgeport and the Knights of Columbus Council #46. Peter was also a natural in the kitchen and absolutely loved cooking for himself and others. More than anything, Peter loved his family and his greatest pride were his children and grandchildren.
Peter is survived by his former wife Diane Clock, his daughter Lisa (Kaaz) Lermayer of Milford, CT, his son Brian Clock (Mandy) of Sterling, CO, two sisters Judy Kniffen of Norwalk and Lynn Gregory (Lew) of Rindge, NH. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Gavin, Austin, Owen and Trevor. He was predeceased by one brother, Charles Timothy Clock.
Visitation will be held at the Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien, on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Graveside service will be on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Ave., Norwalk at 11:00 AM.
