I knew Philip through our activities on ham radio. He was an avid weather geek and radio nerd, like I was.....so we hit it off. We did many things over the years, had fun with Skywarn every summer when the thunderstorms got crazy in CT...another one was I remember taking Phil flying at Sikorsky Memorial Airport in a Cessna 152 in the mid-1990's and we ran ATV (Amateur TV) and transmitted aerial video of Southern Connecticut out on the ham frequencies. It was a lot of fun. Good memories, I will never forget. 73's to you Phil KA1YIQ/WX1CT godspeed from Gary KA1RVI/KD1RJ/K1LZZ

I met Phil at Lyndon State College in 1984. I liked him instantly. I hope Leigh and his brothers find comfort in the wonderful memories they have.
