Sean Sullivan Obituary
Sean Lalime Sullivan, 18, of Norwalk, beloved son of Brett and Michelle "Shelli" Sullivan, honor student, athlete, musician and friend, died suddenly on October 3, 2016. Born in Norwalk, Sean graduated from Norwalk High School, where he was involved in band. He was a freshman at UCONN, a trumpet player and a member of the Marching Band, Wind Symphony, Jazz Orchestra and the Pit Orchestra. He worked at Cranbury Market and was a camp counsellor and lifeguard at the Westport/Weston YMCA, Camp Mahackeno.
Sean is also survived by his sister and brother, Lucie and Bill, maternal and paternal grandmothers: Millie Lalime, Sue Sullivan and Karen Sullivan, aunts, uncles and cousins: Ken and Kathy Lalime and their children Beth, Erin and Amy, Mike and Almarie Lalime and their children Ben and Dan, Buck and Lori Lalime and their children Tyler, Mike, Jill, Amanda, Patrick and Jack, Margot and Scott Arnold and their children Madeleine, Stefan and Eric, Suzanne and Mark Bagdon and their children Lydia and Keith, Scott Sullivan and children Krystal, Paige and Scott Jr., Keith and Joan Sullivan, Robert Arne Sullivan, and Christian Sullivan and Moni Eurich and her children Sky, Rain and Wind Sullivan. Sean was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandfathers Art Lalime and Robert Sullivan, as well as 3 uncles, Bill, Lalime, Bruce and Doug Sullivan. Sean had a special gift for capturing life and lighting it up with joy. His family has delighted in watching him grow and thanks him for showing us how to live a deeper, richer, fuller and more harmonious, peace-filled life through friendship, learning, caring, humor and hope.
His family will receive friends on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at St. Jerome Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Oct 8, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Jerome Church, followed by burial at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk. The family is establishing a charitable fund in Sean's name.
