Stephen Burke
Stephen Patrick Burke, 56, passed away unexpectedly on May 13th, 2021.
He was born February 8th, 1965 in Norwalk, CT, the youngest son of Marie and James Burke. He leaves one son, Douglas and wife Melissa Burke, and three grandchildren Serenity, Athena, and James of Copperas Cove, TX and one daughter, Shannon Burke of Strafford, NH, longtime girlfriend, Lorine and her daughter Jessica, two brothers Stacy Burke, Kevin and his wife Mora Burke of CT, his uncle, Anthony and wife Peggy Guido, an aunt, Lillian, and husband Richard Gordon of CT. He was predeceased by his father James Burke.
Stephen graduated from Brien-McMahon high school in 1983. He then attended the University of New Haven for 2 years, majoring in Criminal Justice, and then moved to New Hampshire where he served as a Rochester police officer for 29 years. He retired in 2014 and spent the rest of his time fishing and enjoying Florida.
Stephen was interred in the John Shirley Cemetery in New Durham, NH.

So sorry to hear this news. We were friends and neighbors for a few years. Love and prayers to all of his family and friends. I know he was so looking forward to the upcoming summer and visit to New England. Such sad news.
