Walter Perschino Obituary
Walter A. Perschino, 87 of Norwalk, CT passed away peacefully on January 13, 2021.
Born August 25, 1933, Walter was a lifelong resident of Norwalk. He was the son of the late John Perschino and Mary Perschino. The youngest son of 7 children, he is survived by his sister Diane Scarpone.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Ralph Perschino, Arthur Perschino, John Perschino and his sisters, Marie Webb and Lucille Brown.
Walter is survived by his daughter Kimberly Ely and husband Brian and their children, Morgan and Daniel, his son Glenn Perschino and wife Patty and their children, Robbie and Alyssa. He is also survived by his best friend, companion, and love of his life Ginger Sollazzo Raymond and her children JT and Lisa Sollazzo, Tracey Sollazzo Scalzi, and Lisa and Gary Gurente, as well as Ginny Perschino and numerous extended family.
He proudly served in the US Navy as a Seabee and worked alongside Ginger at Chatham Manor for 40 years.
Walter enjoyed gardening, dancing, UCONN women's basketball, NY Yankees, and spending time in Florida.
Everyone who knew him, loved him. He didn't have a mean bone in his body and would give you the world if he could. He gave unconditional love to all and would always lend a helping hand.
He was an amazing Dad, Uncle Wally, and Papa and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthews Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk, CT. Attendance will be limited due to Covid. Burial will follow In St. John's Cemetery Richards Avenue Norwalk, CT. Please visit www.collinsfh.com/obituaries to leave condolences.
