Albert Lambrecht Obituary

HASTINGS - Albert O. "Bud" Lambrecht, 86, formerly of Kenesaw died Monday, April 9, 2012, at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare, Hastings.

Services were April 11 at St. Paul's Lutheran in Kenesaw, with the Rev. Paul Duffy officiating. Burial was in the Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw.

Jackson - Wilson Funeral Home of Kenesaw was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Lambrecht was born April 10, 1925, in Kenesaw to William and Alma (Polenske) Lambrecht.

He married Audrey Hoins in 1957, she passed away Dec. 13, 1996.

He married Helen Shultz in 2005, she passed away in July of 2007.

Survivors of the immediate family include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Larry Lambrecht of Gibbon, Lance and Doresa Lambrecht of Grand Island; one daughter and son-in-law, June and Rodney Rose of Blue Hill.

Additional survivors include three grandchildren, Charasten Lambrecht, Tristin Sloat and Chasey Sloat.

He attended St. Paul's Lutheran School in Kenesaw through the 8th grade. He was confirmed in 1938 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kenesaw. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from March 20, 1951 to March 10, 1953.

He farmed in Kenesaw area and retired from farming in 1977, he then worked at Minden Housing in Minden until 1981. Then as a janitor for Jerry Spady Car Dealership from 1982 to 1988. He was a farmhand for Jim Petersen from 1982 to 1993 and Larry Kimle from 1995 to 1996.

He was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the American Legion, both in Kenesaw.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Doris Lambrecht and one brother, Ernst Lambrecht.

Memorials may be given to the family's choice.
