Betty B. Rosencrants - Zoucha, 93, of Grand Island, Neb. passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Grand Island Regional Medical Center in Grand Island, Neb.
To honor Betty's wishes, she was cremated. Her family will be having a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home in Grand Island is assisting the family with arrangements.
Betty was born on December 31, 1931, to Fredrick and Beatrice (Zimmer) Rasmussen in Kearney, Neb. She grew up on a farm near Hazard, Neb. She graduated from Ravenna High School.
She was united marriage to Robert Rosencrants in 1956. To this union, two sons Dale and Craig were born.
For many years, Betty worked as a legal secretary. She retired as a legal secretary for John Waggoner Law Office.
She was a member of the Liederkranz.
Betty is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law: Dale Rosencrants of Grand Island and Craig and Ann Rosencrants of Weatherford, Texas; and her only and favorite grandson, Shawn Rosencrants.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Rosencrants; four sisters; and one brother.
