My wife, Jeanniene, and I very much regret not being able to attend neither Cleon's visitation or funeral in that we will be out of state for a family reunion on those dates. We remember him so well as we attended the Church of Christ in Palmer during the latter half of the 1970's and a couple of years in the 1980's. I had numerous, very enjoyable conversations with Cleon regarding not only the Lord Himself, but also His creation, particularly cattle and horses. I respected Cleon immensely and really appreciated his quiet, thoughtful demeanor. I was impressed with his toughness and tenacity in the face of neuronal physical pain - pain which he didn't complain about. He was truly a man who knew how to live life in thankfulness in spite of its adversities. May God bless his family at this time as they will miss him but know so well that he is healed now.
