September 3, 1979 - December 20, 2024
HASTINGS - Curtis E. Leetch, 45, of Hastings, Nebraska, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024, at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings, Nebraska.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2024, at All Faiths Funeral Home with Dan Naranjo officiating. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home website, www.giallfaiths.com.
Memorials are kindly suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
Curtis was born September 3, 1979, in Grand Island, Nebraska, to Curt & Janice (Schleichardt) Leetch. He grew up in Grand Island and attended Northwest High School.
For most of his life he worked for his family in the tree service business.
Curtis enjoyed fishing and stock car racing. He was a huge Bronco's football fan and collecting memorabilia, and loved his dogs. He also enjoyed listening to country music and drinking beer. Together, Curtis and his nephew, Timmy, enjoyed listening to their favorite song, "Killin' Time" by Clint Black.
He is survived by his mother, Janice Leetch and stepfather, Gary Smith of Hastings; three sisters & brothers-in-law, Tanya & Wayne Nichols, Lori & Andrew Saatmann and Misty Spilinek & Rick Waldron of Kearney; one brother, Mark Leetch; many nieces and nephews; one aunt, Judy Meston; uncle, Joe Leetch; cousins and many friends.
Curtis is preceded in death by his father, Curt Leetch; a brother, Chris Leetch; grandparents, Bill & Dolores Schleichardt and Charles & Myrtle Leetch; aunt, Sherry Leetch; two cousins, Bobby Leetch and Terry Meston; and a brother-in-law, Luis Cruz.
