Daniel Flannigan Obituary
December 24, 1935 - September 18, 2025
Daniel W. Flannigan, age 89, passed away on September 18, 2025. He was born on December 24, 1935, in Stuart, Neb.
Dan worked at Redmond Industries in Grand Island before finishing his driving career with ABF Freight in Omaha, from which he retired in 1990.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 70 years, Dorothy; children, Cyndi Flannigan of Elkhorn, Neb., Kevin and Jana Flannigan of Lawrence, Kan., Kim and Mark McGowan of Grand Island, Neb., and Robert Flannigan of Milford, Neb.; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to AseraCare for their compassion and to the wonderful doctors, nurses, and aides at Methodist Hospital in Omaha for their care and support.
A private family burial will be held at a later date in Stuart, Neb.
