Edna Richter Obituary
KEARNEY, Edna M. Richter, 96, of Kearney died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. James Catholic Church, with the Rev. Charles Torpey officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at Prairie Center.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Horner-Lieske-Horner Mortuary. Christian wake service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
Mrs. Richter was born on Dec. 7, 1911, at Pleasanton to John and Christina (O'Neill) Suntken.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Richter , in 2003, and a son in infancy.
Survivors of the immediate family include two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Gary King of Amherst and Kathy and Kary Hoins of Grand Island; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Elaine Richter and Tom and Carol Richter, all of Kearney; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marylin and Dewaine Trampe of Amherst and Rose Janitscheck of Pleasanton.
