Edwin "Eddie" Arthur Mason
May 25, 1940 – March 9, 2024
AURORA - Edwin "Eddie" Arthur Mason, age 83, of Aurora, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Westfield Quality Care of Aurora.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 13th at 11am at the Aurora Methodist Church. Rev. Michelle Reed officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior at the church. Memorials suggested to the family for future designation. All Faiths Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences can be left at www.giallfaiths.com.
Edwin was born May 25, 1940 in Ord, NE to Edwin and Maude (Watson) Mason. He attended Ord Public Schools.
On May 3, 1963 he was united in marriage to Norma Kay Jorgensen.
He worked as a diesel mechanic at Nebraska Tractor in Grand Island. He also worked for Harv's Farms Supply in Giltner for many years and retired in 2002. Eddie is survived by his wife, Norma; children, Verlene Griffis of Kearney and Wes (April) Mason of Aurora; grandsons, Travis (Sara) Griffis and Levi (Kati) Griffis and great grandchildren, Carter, Caleb, Josh, Sloane and Quinn; brother, Kenneth (Audrey) Mason of Lincoln; brothers in-law, Larry (Kathy) Jorgensen of Ewing and Cliff (Diane) Jorgensen of Alma and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tracy Miller; brother, Danny Mason and an infant sister.
